My homebrew coax QFH antenna

Photo was taken before some corrections were made to antenna, big and small loops were not in clock wise direction from top to bottom (actually one of the loop was in opposite direction & produced very noisy image). Due to simplicity of design loop correction was done in few min.

So, is this only a weather facsimile (WEFAX) receiver, or does it receive more than that? Do you get all GOES channels?

Very nice :)

Hello, I made it but I get a very weak signal, not enough to get an image. I am using 12 meters of an excellent coaxial with a very little loss of signal (Andrew CNT-400) and original Andrew N connectors. Maybe it will be get a good signal if I put it higher? (Actual height is 2 meters from ground, nearest bulding is about 6 meters tall and about 6 meters away). Thanks. Regards. Marcelo. M6BGG. LW3EOV

All QFH loops must be anticlock when viewed from TOP! You have two anticlock and two clockwise. The signal will cancel out and not be available to RX. Try make them all same direction (anticlockwise)and you will see a world of difference in signal strength!
